One of the oldest and best-known tapas restaurants on the island is located in Palma's old quarter of La Lonja. La Bóveda impresses above all with its authentic charm and cheerful, lively atmosphere, which can be observed either from the bar counter or from one of the wine barrels converted into a table. Among the locals, the restaurant is best known for its ibérico ham, matured for several months, and the traditional "pa amb oli" - bread with grated tomato, olive oil and salt. However, typical tapas dishes such as "Pimientos de Patron" or "Patatas Bravas" are also popular and can be enjoyed together with local wines in the restaurant's vaulted cellar.
