The group has the chance to explore the versatile underwater world and learn about the protection of the Mediterranean Sea and the importance of its biodiversity for our entire planet. During a snorkeling excursion participants will learn about endemic underwater species, their important functions for our natural balance and the threats they are currently facing. The marine citizen science workshop will raise awareness and broaden the group´s knowledge about the transformation of the marine environment in a fun way. It will convert participants into an active supporter of marine science with your actions during this excursion. The group can select different scientific topics for your workshop and adjust the theoretical and practical parts to their needs.
